Why We Do What We Do
Here at The Message we believe Learning His Love and Living His Life is a top priority. To accomplish this, we participate in three simple activities that are designed to help believers "be the Church".
The Gathering . . .
Genuinely Connected
The Gatherings at The Message are a once a week, time of connection where friends and family come together to share and experience genuine Christian life. They are much like what the First Century experienced - minus the video of course!
Powerfully Beneficial
Now while our Gatherings may be a little more High Tech, they are still very High Touch, allowing every believer the opportunity to learn God's Great Love and then live His Powerful Life every day.
Uniquely Diverse
Each Gathering is as varied as the people who attend them. You'll see people from every walk of life participating in everything from faith and fellowship to food and fun, communion wine to barbacue sauce! No boredom here, every Gathering is unique!

Get Togethers . . .
Sharing God’s Love with your world isn't just a suggestion made by Jesus, but a commandment. In fact, it’s called The Greatest Commandment! You see, we are called to be so connected to God that we are compelled to share His Love. That’s what Get Togethers are all about - Taking One Hour A Week To Share God’s Love With One Other Person. Now we're not talking about meeting with someone just to share the plan of Salvation, although that may happen. We're really talking about getting together to share God's Love and life with those who really don't know it. Taking just one hour a week of your life to simply be a friend to someone who is not yet a part of God's family. Don't forget, building relationship is what God is all about. Give it a shot, and don't be surprised when God shows up to bless you both!
5th Sunday Service . . .
No, this isn't a special Sunday morning church Serve-Us, but a purposed time set aside once a quarter to focus on serving others. Every Fifth Sunday our Gatherings reach out to serve their community in some real, tangible way. Some choose to serve at a soup kitchen, or throw a block party. The specific activity isn't as important as finding a way to serve someone who needs to see and feel the love of Jesus Christ in action. So join in and serve! Gather some friends and family together to reach out and let your faith work miracles! Don’t forget, Jesus said it is more blessed to give than receive, so reach out to give and Be Blessed!!
